Highlights of '63
Remember Dale Casteel's "Highlights of '61," '62, '63 and '64? Wouldn't it
be great to hear those sounds again? It turns out that a recording of much
of the "Highlights of '63" survives -- and we have it.
The recording quality is not the greatest. The original tape is, after all, more than 40 years old. But it's good enough to take you on a trip down Memory Lane. The files are in MP3 format. (Note: if you have trouble downloading these files, right-click on one of the links and choose "Save Target As." After saving, play the file from your hard drive using Windows Explorer.)
Please share: If anyone has a printed program for the '63 Highlights show, would you please send a copy to Rich Lovett at rlovett@kc.rr.com or 6521 NW Beaman Ave., Kansas City, MO, 64151? Either a clean photocopy or a digital scan will do. And if you have any photos from that show, please send those too. Do you have any sound recordings of your own from NHS, no matter how short? Please share them with us.
