Minnie L. (Harrison) Hinrichs, 67, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at her home in rural Cherryvale, Kan.
Minnie
was born April 28, 1946, in Buffville, Kan., to James and Goldie (Moore) Harrison.
She grew up in Neodesha and attended Neodesha schools. She worked at a daycare
and as a CNA and CMA at several area nursing homes. She was a member of the
Crystalbrook Church.
On December 5, 1986, Minnie married John Hinrichs. The couple made their home in Independence, Kan., before moving to rural Cherryvale.
Survivors include husband John of the home; one son, Wes Bearman of Independence; two nephews and two special friends, Mary Bowen and Elaine Clovey, both of Independence. Minnie was preceded in death by three siblings.
Visitation was Wednesday, Oct. 16 at the Potts Chapel in Independence. The family received friends Oct. 17 at Crystalbrook Church. Celebration of life services were the same day at the church with the Rev. Dick Drumeller officiating. Burial was in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of the Potts Chapel.
The family has suggested memorials to the Crystalbrook Church in care of the Potts Chapel.
